Louisiana, New Orleans and Jefferson Parish leaders have signed an agreement supporting redevelopment of the West End lakefront site, according to the City’s October 30 announcement.

The nearly five-acre property is moving through a two-step developer selection process. The City identifies November 16, 2026 as the next Request for Qualifications deadline and says two further community meetings are planned for November.
